Hon. Segun Kaka, a member of Ogun State House of Assembly representing the Ijebu North State Constituency II, moved by what he termed as progressive governance, has commended the efforts of Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun for his remarkable achievements and visionary leadership.
Speaking during the week with the leadership of Federated Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council, led by Comrade Juwon Opayemi, Hon. Kaka itemised the Governor’s unwavering commitment to developing the state’s infrastructure and empowering its youths.
‘Ogun State is witnessing unprecedented development under the leadership of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, CON.
‘Two flagship projects; the Agro Cargo Airport and the Customs Training School indeed exemplified his vision for economic growth, job creation, and infrastructure development’.
Hon Kaka described the Agro Cargo Airport situated in Illisan-Remo as “a game-changer for Agriculture sector”, saying that it will ‘revolutionize agricultural production and export in Ogun State among other functions such as enhancement of agricultural productivity and processing, Increasing export earnings for farmers and the state, Creating of jobs and stimulating of local economic growth and Positioning of Ogun State as a hub for agricultural trade”‘
Commending Governor Abiodun on the Customs Training School, Hon Kaka said, it will “build capacity for economic growth, as well provide specialized training for Customs personnel, equipping them to tackle modern trade challenges.
“It will enhance Custom’s efficiency and effectiveness, boost revenue generation for the federal and state governments, strengthen Nigeria’s position in global trade and foster economic growth and development”.
He referred to the projects as a viable signal to “Governor Abiodun’s commitment to diversifying in infrastructure development, enhancing the business environment and creating opportunities for citizens”.
Hon Kaka applauded the Governor for “his visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to development, strategic investments in critical sectors and dedication to improving the lives of Ogun State citizens.
“The Agro Cargo Airport and Customs Training School projects are testaments to Governor Abiodun’s transformative leadership. As these projects are near completion, let’s anticipate a positive impact on Ogun State’s economy, agriculture, and our dear people.
“I appreciate his tireless efforts, and in no doubt look forward to more groundbreaking initiatives”, Kaka said.
